Hibernate is what we would call a 'winter blend for sleepy bears'. A sweet and rich coffee to keep you warm and cozy through the colder months. This blend is designed for longer development times at medium and darker roast profiles. Roast a batch, brew a cup, and hunker down for a long winter.
In your lineup
This blend is built for drip or espresso and can stand up to syrup or milk-heavy beverages. We like it at a solid medium roast level, where the fruity flavors of the natural processed Honduras Marcala are experienced in notes of fruitcake and black currant. The washed Mexico Chiapas works as a supportive backbone, providing fudgy chocolate and warm spice flavors.
At darker roast levels, Hibernate becomes more fudgy and dense, with notes of cooked berries, sweet woodsmoke, and black cherries.
