Steve has been a professional entrepreneur and technologist for over 35 years. He's designed and developed machinery and processes for many of the largest manufacturers in the US. He's also launched or consulted with numerous companies ranging from 3D printing, aviation, automotive, health care, medical devices, software, and fabrication. Over the last 10 years, his single focus has been the elevation and professionalization of the entire specialty coffee industry. To that end, Steve has invested over 20000 hours investigating the processes of superior cup quality in terms of greens quality, sensory analysis, heat transfer and roast profiling, and extraction. He has been, and continues to be, instrumental in the establishment of Mill City Roasters as the premier partner to new and scaling roasteries worldwide.
