About the Coffee
High-grown coffees from Guatemala are a staple offering for us as they are for many coffee roasters: The crisp acidity, full body, and toffee sweetness found in these coffees make them a valuable and approachable single-origin brews
A large percentage of Guatemala’s population, and therefore also the coffee sector, identifies with one of more than 20 officially recognized indigenous groups, and most of the farmers are smallholders who are either working independently of one another, loosely associated by proximity and cultural ties, or formally affiliated in cooperative associations.

I’ve only roasted two 500 gram batches so far, to city + and early Full City. Both we gone very quickly. I just got a taste of each and will experiment in both directions just to make sure that I hit the spot. Easy roasting, I call it Helen Keller coffee. Love the coffee and the price.

My customers love this coffee. We roast on the light side of dark roast, one customer said: “This is the smoothest cup of coffee I’ve ever tried.” Another said it was one of the best espressos he’s ever pulled.
