This week, we're releasing Second Spring, a seasonal coffee blend available as a green pre-blend in 10lb bags and 40lb boxes, and available for a limited time on our roasting coffee menu.
Second Spring is a blend of washed coffees from Ethiopia and Peru. It celebrates the flavors of springtime with notes of lavender, light maple, milk chocolate, and orange marmalade. It’s juicy and lingering, and we like it best at a light or medium profile.
Most roasters already know the importance of planning a great Holiday blend during the Christmas season. For many companies, it's the best-selling coffee of the year. In our roasting classes and seminars, we emphasize the power of seasonal blends to drive coffee sales, customer interest, and staff engagement. But seasonal blends shouldn't be limited to just the November and December menus. Launching limited offering coffees throughout the year keeps your offerings fresh and interesting, attracting new customers, and giving your current ones something different to try.

What does Second Spring mean to us? After a long winter of short days and frozen nights, we start looking for any signs of snowmelt or new growth. Here in the Midwest, the first wave of spring is not always the most beautiful; it’s muddy and brown, with bare tree branches still scratching at the sky. With some patience, you are rewarded by a second spring - blossoming flowers, vibrant greens, and long-awaited warmth.
