Bye, bye, Big Red.
After 8 great years, we're parting ways with our beloved Big Red.
We built Big Red as a mobile coffee lab for the US Roasting Championship. Over the last several years, it has been used almost exclusively as the home base platform for thousands of Coffee Fest attendees nationwide.
Big Red is a 300 HP DOT certified 26000 lb GVW 2013 Peterbilt 337 with air ride suspension.
It is equipped with a custom electrically operated expansion slider, dual rooftop HVAC, dual LP tanks, dual generators, 60 amp marine shore power port and battery backup.
It features custom steel cabinetry, custom fabricated 3-compartment sink, microwave, refrigerator, 40 gallon fresh water tank, 10 gallon waste tank and water heater.
The counters host 2 La Marzocco Linea Mini espresso machines, 2 Mazzer Super Jolly espresso grinders, 2 Curtis batch brewers, and a Mahlkonig EK-43S. All equipment is lightly used for demonstration and training purposes only.
The cab has been upgraded with leather air-ride seats, automated battery combiner, Pioneer sound system, rear camera display and the worlds loudest truck horn.
Steve loves this truck and is sad to see it go, but it's parked in our indoor loading dock and needs to find a new home.
