This hourly support is available for:

  • Owners who purchased MCR-series roasters from a third party (regardless of age/use)
  • Owners of imported roaster brands that do not offer tech support
  • Owners of US-based roaster brands that do not offer tech support

Legacy MCR-6

What a journey it has been for this legacy MCR-6. From Ohio to Florida it has survived the test of time, until I got it home...That's where Angie Davis and her team came in to help rescue this machine from the inexperienced hands of myself.

With the help of Angie and her team they were able to help restore this machine. I had electrical issues with the cooling fan, critical venting problems, and thermal coupler issues.

Thank you for all your diligent work and time you spent with me over the phone and through emails. Your expertise in support with troubleshooting this roaster is invaluable for how it has helped me be successful starting my small coffee roasting business!

Ignition solenoid replacement.

First batch went as planned. Second had a slight variance. While I was trying to hit my drop temp, I noticed my temperature was still rising on RP even though my ignition was button was off, that’s when I discovered the burners were still ignited. I called MCR headquarters to inform them about my situation of my burners not shutting down when the ignition button was in the off position. I was placed on a brief hold before Nick got on the line and diagnosed the problem immediately. Luckily, I had a replacement part on hand. He had given me directions on how to replace the solenoid and asked me to give him a courtesy call once repaired. I was up and running again within the hour. Hands down exceeded all expectations on tech-support.
