| We first met Arick and his team when they joined us for Roasting 101 in April. Their entire team attended class to better understand the science and craft of speciality coffee. This class allows participants to“hit the ground running” when they begin roasting their own coffee. The hands on experience also helped foster a better understanding of their facility requirements. Ultimately, their building plans were modified to provide the room they’ll need to scale. We were excited to see them pop up in the Sprudge 2022 Build-Out Series, which features new cafes under construction or recently opened. Last Mile Cafe in set to open up later this summer in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
