Over the Summer, Renee and Scott were able to knock out quite a few items on our RoastPATH to-do list, and the first of those items went live last week with the Portal getting a new layout for navigation and the release of the Roast Plan tool.
If you've been on your Portal lately, you've noticed the move to an expanded left-hand nav bar, the introduction of a new section named 'Apps', and the launch of Roast Plan, which allows you to queue up batches into a to-do list inside the RoastPATH roasting app. This transparency in our production roastery allows Serena and Christian to get a handle on where Sam is in his roast day to know what can be packaged/shipped and allows Bryant to get things in queue based on what orders he sees coming in throughout the day. Roast Plan is currently available on all RoastPATH accounts, including the free Hobby tier.
The next phases will build on this Roast Plan capability. We'll be introducing a batch calculator to help automate your Roast Plan creation based on the finished products you need, import tools to populate the batch calculator, third-party app syncing, and then it's a short jump to what you've all been waiting for: three-state inventory.
Read the full release notes over at roastpath.com or on the RoastPATH Forums. If you're not yet a on RoastPATH, you can sign up for free and check it out for yourself.

The Roast Plan allows for you to queue up and reorganize batches that specify which coffee, batch size, and which Roast Reference should be used.
