Pura Bean Featured in Daily Coffee News

Posted by on

A bright orange Volkswagen bus is the mascot for roaster and retailer Pura Bean Coffee, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The name is derived from the Costa Rican exclamation, “pura vida,” meaning “it’s all good.” The business is known for their unique van, used to deliver coffee supplies and beans, which are roasted on a 3 kilogram North machine from Mill City Roasters. To complement their delivery service, their flagship brick-and-mortar location opened in July 2016. Chris Diedrich, the founder, states that his ultimate goal is to open four more locations in the next five years. Article written by Howard Bryman, associate editor of the Daily Coffee News.
