Hibernate is what we call a 'winter blend for sleepy bears'. A sweet and rich coffee to keep you warm and cozy through the colder months. This blend is designed for longer development times at medium and darker roast profiles. Roast a batch, brew a cup, and hunker down for a long winter.
In your lineup
This is a holiday blend on the medium end of the roast spectrum. This blend is built for drip or espresso and can stand up to syrup or milk-heavy beverages. We like it at a solid medium roast level, where the fruity flavors of the naturally processed El Salvador Chalate are experienced in notes of pineapple upside-down cake and rum punch. The washed Papua New Guinea works as a supportive backbone, providing dark chocolate and baking spice flavors.
At darker roast levels, Hibernate gets more earthy with notes of black tea, cooked-down fruit, and bakers' chocolate.
