The OD of this adapter in the 4" or larger nominal diameters can be inserted and sealed into standard parts of Z-Vent, Jeremias and Selkirk. For other brands that have end conditions smaller than the nominal dimension (such as Metal-Fab), you may need to purchase their boiler-type adapters that have adjusable cuff mechanisms that will allow you to cuff their adapter around the body of this adapter.
Apply a full-overlap layer of sealant with the appropriate high-temp sealer to meet NFGC requirements. If a mechanical connection is required by your municipality, use shallow screws or strapping to reinforce the connection.
Follow all codes applicable in your area. Don't burn down your roastery.
Additional design notes:
If the pipe you're connecting to is double-wall, you may consider a single-wall-to-double-wall adapter if you want a more finished look - it will close up the gap between your two walls. This is not required though as long as you have this space sealed on the exterior.
