We roast this pre-blend to a medium level for many of our own toll roasting customers across the country, who serve it as a straight shot or as the foundation of the drinks on their espresso menu. The flavor is approachable, crowd-pleasing, and designed to be complemented by dairy or plant-based milk. This blend is available year-round, and although the components will change, we aim to provide a consistent flavor profile of chocolate, caramel, and red fruit. If you’re looking to add a solid and reliable espresso blend to your roasting lineup, look no further.
In your lineup
While this blend is intended for use as an espresso, it's also a great brewed coffee. In our roastery, we apply an "omni-roast" style profile to create a coffee that's well-rounded, balanced, and nicely suited for multiple brewing methods. For this blend, we like it best at a light-to-medium roast level, aiming for a color reading of around 60 on the Agtron scale.
If you're nervous to start blending or if you haven't roasted a pre-blend before, this is a great entry into the wide world of coffee blending. A delicious blend with a wide target for finish temperature and time, it will taste excellent even if you go a little too light or a tad too dark. It's very forgiving and easy to work with like every great blend should be.
